Refund policy

At AuxBoards, we want you to be completely satisfied with your custom keyboard. If you're not happy with your purchase, we're here to help.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted.

Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return, your keyboard must:

  • Be in like-new or unused condition
  • Include all original components (switches, stabilizers, keycaps, case, etc.)
  • Come in original packaging with all accessories
  • Show no signs of use, damage, or customization beyond factory specs

Keyboards that have been heavily used, modified, or damaged are not eligible for return.

Return Process

  1. Email us at auxboardkeebs@gmail.com with: Order number, Reason for return, Photos of the keyboard (if damaged)
  2. Receive approval — We'll review within 24 hours
  3. Ship back — We'll provide a return label (customer pays return shipping unless the issue was our error)
  4. Inspection — We'll inspect the keyboard upon receipt
  5. Refund issued — Within 5 business days of receiving and inspecting the keyboard

Refund Amount

  • Full refund if the issue was due to our error (defect, wrong specs, damage during shipping)
  • Full refund minus return shipping if you're returning for any other reason
  • Shipping costs for the original order are non-refundable

Non-Returnable Items

The following are NOT eligible for return:

  • Custom builds that have been fully used or tested
  • Keyboards with user-caused damage
  • Items purchased more than 30 days ago
  • Components ordered separately (switches, keycaps, stabilizers sold individually)

Defective Products

If you receive a defective keyboard, contact us immediately with photos. We will either:

  • Send a replacement at no cost
  • Provide a full refund including return shipping
  • Offer a credit toward your next purchase

Exchanges

If you want to exchange your keyboard for a different configuration, email us at auxboardkeebs@gmail.com. Exchanges may be subject to price differences and a 15% restocking fee if the original keyboard was used.
